I'm really adjusting to life in Texas, in case the sign on wasn't an indicator. It's been busy here teaching and freelancing but I'm trying my damnedest to make personal work for my portfolio, too.
Here's a new work in progress. I won't say much about it just yet other than it's set in the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia where I'm from. The interior is meant to be a secret storeroom of government files with a (somewhat magical) tree protecting them.
The foliage is all old and/or Frankenstein'd from other projects. The same goes for the materials. I plan to remake all of this as I want this scene to be 100% my hand.
Advice and critique are always welcome!
